From a practical standpoint, I'd probably choose something similar to a typical pet, like a Growlithe or a Furfrou. Though I'd personally love to have an Audino.

I'll admit, I liked his walkthrough for Rumble Blast. And a few of the booster box openings. That's about it though.

Basically; water, fire, maybe electirc, most likely flying and possibly ground or psychic. I mean.....just use the team you'd use if you were using Serperior in place of Simisage.

O.o Seriously? Are people actually thinking that no-starter runs are difficult? I almost never use a starter, and it's a piece of cake.

Raichu is better in terms of stats, but Pikachu, with the Light Orb, is a better sweeper.

The best moveset I can think of for Pikachu would involve transferring from Heartgold/SoulSilver, or Battle Revolution.

I mostly see Anti leads, so Hazard or anti lead would be somewhat ineffective. I'd say go with a sweeper. Possibly Pikachu. Goves it time to set up a Nasty Plot or two.
