You can also use a memory loader and load a save file with a Tails chao in it onto one of your memory cards. But you need to be willing to modify your Wii, assuming you have one. That can be a tad risky. Another way is to buy SADX for the PC and use Fusion's chao editor to make a Tails chao.

I don't play SADX very often by I tend to use Amy or Sonic.

SA2B I almost exclusively use Rogue or Tails. Tails because you really have to try to hurt your chao with him most of the time and Rogue because Eggman's too big and I'm kind of clumsy with Shadow/Sonic.
