Re: So have you guys been getting your anime doses?
I mean, sadly, it's sorta inevitable. It's a forum that started off as being for a minigame of a game that came out, what, sixteen years ago now? (assuming we're talking about SA2 for a timeframe), which then has gotten nothing related to it unless you count the Tiny Chao Gardens in the GBA games or...

Re: What Game are YOU currently playing?
Mass Effect: Andromeda. Flawed? Oh yes it is. It's also incredibly fun. Melee Vanguard in multiplayer is just great, tanking everything that comes your way through the sheer power of punching. It doesn't seem very balanced right now, quite honestly. Most guns are incredibly underpowered, so most bui...

Re: So have you guys been getting your anime doses?
Just finished Death Parade, that was an interesting one to watch. Currently watching Evangelion after having a friend pester me about it, and it's feeling pretty good so far, if a bit dry at times. I still need to watch Kaiji at the request of Retro from a few months ago. I didn't dislike it- it was...

Re: Your Favourite Game.
Totally stealing the categories idea. Platformer: Sonic Adventure 2. Not going to pretend that the game doesn't have its own flaws, but I feel like it manages to work past them... also, the nostalgia factor helps. FPS: Overwatch. I probably would have suggested one of the Halo games had you asked me...

Re: ALRIGHT MAGGOTS
Overwatch (PC) Definitely some of the most fun I've had with a shooter in a very long time. Had a friend bug me to play it constantly during the open beta, and when I finally relented, I played it to hell and back... then the beta ended and I played absolutely nothing until it released because noth...

Re: Autism
High functioning/Asperger's here. The diagnosis came late (2-3 years ago), pretty much every person we went to back when I was a kid just figured "eh, he's a kid, kids are weird, he'll grow out of it." That did not happen. The biggest stim I have is pacing, which, since my mom's room is right undern...

Re: united states disgusting political topic autumn 2016
This has just been... exhausting. Like, regardless of your political affiliations, I think we can all agree that the constant fighting and bickering has been tiring. I voted for Clinton, because although Connecticut has never really influenced anything ever, not like I had anything better to do today.

Re: Nintendo Switch (aka NX) finally teased!
Not sure how to feel about it, I feel like it's spreading itself a bit thin trying to do too many things at once, but I've been wrong before. We'll see, though, battery life will probably be the biggest deciding factor for me.

I definitely have a strange like of a few smells. That new card smell Retro mentioned, the odor of really strong hot sauces, campfires, diesel fuel. As for dislikes, I can never understand why people like stepping into a Lush. Seriously, everyone I know seems to love it there, I just can't wrap my h...

Huh. Honestly, I always just figured it was the same reason we use random Chinese/Japanese characters for things like tattoos: namely, it looks exotic and foreign, even if no-one has a dang clue what it means. Maybe not. Research time!

Re: Overwatch
So, season 2 of competitive dropped early. Seems pretty much like the first season from what I've seen, except there's no more coin flip, so ties can actually happen. New map, Genji nerfs, Mei buffs, and a BM filter so all those people saying "gg ez" and other things like that are having their words...

well i guess back in 2010 i wasn't too bad, except i had never heard of the shift key, and sometimes skipped the space after a period.that isn't as bad as i was expecting.at the same time... Oh GOD typing and deliberately ignoring capitalization and spacing hurts now. Eeeeeew. Not doing that again, ...

I've found that Zarya's laser is hard to aim, for me, because it's hard to tell where it actually ends. I have no idea what the actual range on it is. But when you are at high energy and keeping it on target, it just melts people.

Re: Books and reading stuff
Rereading the Mistborn series, currently at the tail end of The Well of Ascension. Also, read The Martian for the first time seeing what all the fuss is about... wondering if I should watch the movie, or just stick with the book. Mostly just a question of whether it'll be worth my time, really. I fe...

That sucks, Crazo. You have my condolences. Only flooding I can think of in my house was a busted hot water heater, but that was just a few gallons, not several inches.

Oh lord, second stage pokemon did not get much love at all. Only pokemon on the list with a preevolution and an evolution are Pikachu and Jigglypuff, from what I see.

Re: Have Video Games ever helped you in real life/taught you anything?
Pokemon really helped my reading skills as a child, then all the EV/IV/Nature/Egg Moves nonsense taught me a lot about planning things out later. On a less serious note, playing games online while other people in the house were sleeping taught me a lot about keeping my anger back, may have made me a...

Re: romantic/sexual orientation survey 2.0
I've always gone with "straight, not blind" to describe me. Straight as an arrow, but I reserve the right to look at a handsome guy and say "not my thing, but I get it"... which confuses a lot of people for some reason.

^Eh. OCD, nah. High-functioning autism... maybe. I've noticed me and other people on the spectrum I know care about it, but it's a pretty small sample size and I hate people blaming things on the disorder (one for the pet peeve pile, I guess). Mostly what I wind up complaining about in bad kerning i...
