i don't think you can get a broken skull, but in SA2B, if you dig in the dark garden, you can find skulls for your chao to wear

It's the base color of that chao. tHe base color of a dark run could very well be turquoise. the Swimming one, after all, is light green.

CHao are the reason i got into Sonic... THe first sonic game i ever played was Sonic Adventure DX and what made me like it was the fat they had chao in there.
