According to the Black Market guide, 20 emblems are needed for the egg to show up, with a price of 600 rings (but market rotation and egg sets might stop you from seeing them).

Unfortunately, breeding won't let you get a purple chao, and they have to come from the Black Market.

There should be something at the bottom of the page that says "Delete all board cookies".

Try pressing that and see if your phone (or other device) keeps doing that. That usually fixes that problem.
