Re: Yellow, Purple, Pink
Not getting the result you want after only 5 tries isn't too surprising. By File 1 and File 2 I mean how when you make a new Save File for the game, it'll be File 01 or File 02 and so on. I'm not sure how much of a difference it makes, but I have noticed that a a specific Save File can result in the...

Re: Yellow, Purple, Pink
How many Gamertags have you tried and does it create a new Chao Garden every time? Do you always create the Chao Garden while using Save File 1? Have you tried using Save File 2 or another Save File?

Re: How did this Chao end up this way?
My best guess is that someone used Chao Editor 2 to make this Chao. I have only been able to actually get it to work once or twice, but if I remember correctly, it was able to do extreme changes like this. If you give the Chao animals that will reveal its arms and legs, you might find that the arms ...

Re: united states disgusting political topic autumn 2016
My main advice is to focus on local government! While we talk a lot about the presidential election, the public actually has no guaranteed control over who is president. The Electoral College determines president, and it is a nightmarish game. There's no telling what will happen, which is why the po...

Re: So have you guys been getting your anime doses?
I started watching Cowboy Bebop, but Hulu only has the first four episodes of the dub, so stopped for now. This season on Crunchyroll I'm watching Kiss Him, Not Me and Magical Girl Raising Project . The former I already knew about because my girlfriend reads and loves the manga, and I'll admit the a...

Re: Chao Island Facebook Group
I think a Facebook group has been mentioned way back in the past, and I doubt I'm the first who will be worried for safety, and the struggle with exclusivity. Since both are huge issues for this community. Most importantly is that we're fairly diversely aged on Chao Island, and I'm not sure we shoul...

Re: Best Generation of Gaming.
I genuinely had a hard time coming up with an answer. I'm going to say early to mid 7th Generation was best. I say this because we still had the spirit of the 6th Generation, but everyone was getting online play figured out. I think online play itself was the best thing gaming could see, and this is...

Re: Another girl question (For mature people only)
I imagine it's that godawful perfume stuff they wear or something Actually a surprising amount of factors go into how a person smells. For example, many people may associate me with a certain smell, but that smell is strongly based on the smell of the chemicals used to wash my clothing. Then there'...

Re: Another girl question (For mature people only)
It's a test. If they can be smelly and mean to you, and you still like them, then they know you're a starstruck fool who will do whatever they say. Then they can determine whether they want to mate with someone who will kiss their smelly smelly feet or expect them to have standards. Of course, the m...

Re: It's been five days
I kept thinking about this topic and I'm glad it progressed so far. I wanted to mention that Japan can be eager to incorporate foreign words, to the extent that they created an entirely separate set of characters for it. They have hiragana for native words and katakana for foreign words. They've eve...

Re: It's been five days
For quite some time now, I've had this lingering suspicion that the Japanese government created anime as a sort of weaponized autism... Hideaki Anno has actually been quoted saying that creators of anime are primarily autistic, and this could be true of all creative mediums. While I think that migh...

Re: Ask me a question about hacking
With the more recent news about Russian hackers releasing United States Democratic Party emails, I do want to ask if there is something inherently easier about hacking from one country to another or form one language to another. Did the Russians have some kind of advantage unique to being Russian, o...

Re: Bring back gender?
I only more recently noticed it wasn't around anymore. I think it'd be nice for a symbols system with a Male/Female/Unidentified and even an option to make it blank. The usefulness to me is less about knowing someone is a man or a woman, but moreso knowing what pronouns to use.

I'm sorry to say that you might be waiting for quite a while. Not many people have focused on editing the Dreamcast versions of Chao, or at least not many people who are still around.. I myself am not too savvy on this stuff, but I can point you toward something that could help. http://www.sonic-adv...

I have found it for around 40 dollars at video game resale shops. Like in my area there is a branch of stores called Disc Replay, as well as Half Priced Books. Those are the only two places I have seen the game in person, and I desperately scooped money together for it at Half Priced Books when I sa...

Re: What do normal people do?
playing video games stopped being a nerd stereotype before you were born I disagree, it depends on where you are. People play games in hushed tones in the earlier years of school that you go to, it's pretty much known that people do play them but if you outright talk about it you're pretty much gen...

Re: What do normal people do?
Normal is what you make of it, man. By that I mean that the more time you spend getting to know people, the more you're going to find the idea of "normal" applies to very few things. I spend a lot of my time working, and did spend plenty of it attending university before I graduated. Sometimes I wri...

1. I know for sure the melon hat is in the DX and Battle ports of the game- are you talking about the Dreamcast originals? That I'm unsure about. The original Sonic Adventure on Dreamcast had no headgear options, and while Sonic Adventure 2 on Dreamcast may have had the option to put Eggshells on a...

Re: Video game music...
^ I will clarify that when I say "pop music" I do not mean the genre of pop, I mean the Hot 100 as posted on Billboard, which is arguably the strongest source for how well music is currently doing in the United States. This does say something about what music is popular, even if it is closely tied t...

Re: Video game music...
I think it is definitely an older notion that the medium determines the value of music. Similar to how electronic music was disregarded for many years. I think the true challenge is arguing if video game music has improved, or is in some way superior to other platforms of music. Not in the sense tha...
