Sega gives us information on Sonic 4: Episode 2

The news is about a day or two old but nobody posted it so I thought I would.
Anyway Ken Balough from SEGA of america gave us a little riddle about the new character for Sonic 4: Episode 2.

"If you’re an Episode II fan
I would go back to where the Sonic 4 Campaign first began
In a month filled with presents and Christmas hams
think of the day, the HMS Warrior first swam"

Heres what I think it means:

I think it means that tails is in the game. sonic 4 campagn first began means the first level in the game which is splash hill zone which was kinda based of emerald hill zone which is the first zone tails was in. Also the HMS warrior is a plane, which flies. Also tails can swim.

Also, when it says “I would go back to where the Sonic 4 Campaign first began” and the Sonic Cd trailer says see where the Sonic 4 Saga.

Well the CD remake had tails too didn't it.

That argument doesn't make any sense, I'm not denying tails might show up. But at the end of the trailer it says "See where it all began" The Sonic 4 hint tells us to see where it all began. The month is obviously December, and the HMS challenger first swam december 29th.

I've decoded the riddle, somethings coming up the 29th.

Actually that is another good interpritation. There was also a HMS warrior that was a ship and not a plane. So maybe we get another hint on the 29th?

That's what I said, but I doubt this has anything to do with the ship since it said "Swam."

Episode 3: The ___ Egg crashes, Eggman tricks Knux (again), Tails and Sonic fight both of them. Knux realizes that he's been tricked (again), all destroy the ___ Egg. Inclusion of Hyper forms.

It's just as the stone tablets predicted!
