I listened to one dubstep band/group, I kinda liked the song. :) s'the only song I heard so yeah. As far as electronic goes, honestly, I prefer ambient.

I had a guy in my class who listened to dubstep. When he walked away, I picked his earphone up and listened to the sound. I thought his computer was spazzing o_o

Dubstep isn't good music, it's basically any music only 95% of the beat taken away and putting it on pure randomness. I personally enjoy it a lot more then hardcore, accordion music and one line songs, but it's still bad.

Dubstep is my favorite type of music.
You guys that say it's horrible have probably only heard Skrillex and his "dubstep". Or, if not, and you have actually heard more songs/artists in the genre and genuinely dislike it, that's fine.

Lordcool I love you. Skrillex is repetitive and hardly considered creative whatsoever. He's remade the song Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites about 10 times. He remade it so hard he had to make 2 albums; One "Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites" and the other one "More Monsters and Nice Sprites". I'm not saying he's bad at what he does, I listen to his stuff every now and then, but it seems he's in it for the money rather than to please the masses.

For some GOOD dubstep, I enjoy some other artists.

Porter Robinson-The State, for one.

Disco Sex Agenda- Chozo Dub is also a great song. Instead of screaming bass, it's a more thuddy, deep sound.

When in a more somber mood, I enjoy listening to some of Klippa's stuff, like Expansion Port. Might not be considered dubstep by most, don'tknowdon'tcare.

Of course there's always Drum n' Bass, Dubstep's crackhead of a brother. Spor is probably the best DnB artist I've heard. His song 103 Degrees and the remix of The Qemists' Stompbox are both straight-up proper massive.
