So this should be interesting considering all the people we have on CI. Now we can all assume that a lot of us aren't racist, or homophobic, transphobic or any other phobic, but this site might give you a second opinion on all that.

It's quite interesting, you take a test which puts four different things in front of you and depending on the test, have to choose if they're good, bad and the two options you're being tested against (Black/White, Gay/Straight, etc.)
It can reveal some things about you that you may not even know yourself, such as associations with weapons with black people, or a slight preference to gay people over straight people.
Try some of the tests and report some of the interesting ones. I keep getting all the common answers so I'm assuming all tests would be a common occurrence to the norm.

"Your data suggest a slight automatic preference for Gay people over Straight people"
Does not match up with the majority of people.
"Your data suggest a strong automatic association for Harmless Objects with White Americans and Weapons with Black Americans."
Does match up with the majority. To be fair, it was the first time I took a test on this website and I got a bit confused about the controls.

I don't care what other people think of me, much less non-persons.

Re: Project Implicit.
I've heard of these tests. I've also heard their based on debunked psychological theories.
Not even going to attempt loading the link since I'm pretty sure these tests are based on visual stimuli.

Re: Project Implicit.
yeah, this idea that "you like gay people slightly more than straight people you just don't know it" isn't just fundamentally incorrect (if i liked gay people over straight people i would know), it is also apropos pretty much nothing. These aren't deep thoughts that we just haven't realized or come to terms with yet, these are things that we know and understand about ourselves but abstain from mentioning because of social stereotypes associated with having these feelings.

Re: Project Implicit.
i only did the obama/thomas jefferson one because i didn't quite understand what i was doing and just clicked the first one on the list. i prefer obama slightly more than thomas. i was so uninterested in doing the rest of the tests.
y'all...
Re: Project Implicit.

Re: Project Implicit.
This is bull. I would know if I liked a certain race over another, and I'm certain I don't.
There is no such thing as unknown racism, homophobia, sexism, etc. It's simply ridiculous in my opinion.
