Can speed test websites be trusted?
Can speed test websites be trusted?
I've been hearing rumors lately that ISP's improve performance when you're using a website meant to test your internet speed, any thoughts?

The real question is can our republican representatives in DC be trusted to keep net neutrality a thing.

Actually I do wonder if losing net neutrality will impact the practicality of speed test sites? I know that many service providers have their own specific speed tests, but what would stop them from adjusting the active speeds or even just lying to you?

Theoretically if net neutrality dies, there is nothing that would stop isps from only allowing max on speedtest websites so people dont have reliable ways to check their actual internet speed
