Seriously that WAS pretty uncalled for. He wasn't asking for your sarcasm, Crash. At least stay on topic about the actual game. Not about dissing on Triert. Also, he does have a gf, so I think he's content. There's also nothing wrong with enjoying any of these above mentioned games, guys...

^ Quoted because this was for two recently removed post but I like what I said here sooo

Anyway, I've actually always been interested in WoW. My cousin used to play it quite a bit when I was a few years younger. It seemed really cool and all. I may try it out soon, but I'm pretty sure it costs money? Soooo we'll see.

Oh no a game costs MONEY! D: How dare they! WoW should go F2P so I can not spend money on it! /itsajokedontwitchhuntmereddit

On a serious note though, I've played a little of it but I don't really like the grindy nature of the game. Its funny though because I had at least 3 months of free play from Blizzard for playing starcraft II before they hit 1 mil SC2 players and I only ever got to level 20 before getting hacked (and subsequently banned from WoW). Oh freakin well.

I know this is a joke, but I can definitely see WoW becoming F2P soon. They'd bring back a ton of players, I feel. While WoW is far from being unprofitable, you can't really argue with more money. That's why they added that whole "demo" thing.

I believe blizzard made a statement saying they weren't going to make the game F2P because the game wasn't built upon being F2P, but I'm not entirely sure of that so don't quote me. However, saying this Blizzard is currently working on 2 free to play games: Hearthstone, the warcraft themed CCG that is currently in open beta, and Heroes of the Storm, previously called many things, including Blizzard All-Stars and Blizzard DOTA which is just their take (their beautiful, beautiful remastery in my honest opinion) on the action RTS genre, which lowers the chance of WoW going f2p dramatically.

Also, what you said on the demo, I think that's more of a "come try our game" type thing for the people that are still unsure if they would like it. They've done the same thing on Starcraft II with the "Starter Edition" and the more recent f2p arcade, which makes every game on the starcraft arcade f2p pretty much, including maps that use assets from the expansion Heart of the Swarm I believe, but I can't confirm because I don't have a starter edition account

I get that it's a joke, but when I'm having to pay for gas money for my car, having to buy lunch frequently after school somewhere, etc., I'm not fond of spending money on something I know nothing about.

The problem is my interest isn't high enough to look into it. Another reason I don't own it. Plus I'm extremely busy these days in my senior year, sooo yeah.

Also, WoW costs I believe $30 for the game and $30 for expansions? Plus the subscription.

At the moment, you can buy the entire game with all the expansions for only 30$, and you can pay 13 a month if you set up a 6 month subscription.

My feelings tree *sobs*

Me and my friend actually had a conversation about this today. The game is only good if you have time and genuinely believe the game is worth the money you're paying for every month.

^ Ssssssshhhhhhhh...he didn't mean it...

My opinion on WoW? I've seen my friend play it and it looks ok but not something worth the money im saving for building a computer. I guess if your more into that sort of thing MAYBE... But I've had my slew of memberships that weren't worth it.

My interest lies in the nostalgia I've had playing it as well as how centralized and the sense of community guilds give.

^ Same, the updated models look so nice. I can't wait to see more!
Ah and so much of it sounds fun. I can't wait.

My sister and her boyfriend and I are all gonna start new toons on a more populated server, maybe Illidan or Kil-jedan.
I'm so boring I'm gonna make another Tauren Shammy.

Reviving this topic bc I want some opinions:

I main a resto druid and just started leveling a resto shaman so uh, can someone compare and contrast? What are the main differences between the two? Is there anything in particular I should keep in mind?
I really want to know because when I play my druid I keep ending up in 2nd or 3rd place in healing usually behind a shaman, or a priest ;^; (or sometimes even another druid...)

Also, Kormrok. Am I supposed to just run through the explosive runes or stand on them for a second? I've heard both and I'm confused.

I don't have too much to tell you besides looking up what the best healers simply "do" they have plenty of guides, though the dying subscription base might indicate that some guides might be stagnant or outdated

Pre-patch for Legion.

RIP glyphs. Transmog goes together with collections now (I had a full void storage so I'm actually happy with this). Majority of the classes are confused I'm sure. And seriously, RIP glyphs.

I feel like my main (druid) ended up pretty well off, my rotation seems to be pretty much the same, though I need to figure out my mastery uptime all over again, Healing Touch and (unglyphed ;-;) Regrowth no longer refresh Lifebloom, and I need to rename some stuff in my addons to Efflorescence. Speaking of which, the model for that is still a mushroom...

it's the best holiday event again dudes and I'm disappointed the event for Overwatch isn't also called Hallow's End

how are you guys all doing? :o I made it to 110 on Monday (the day before the start of the event) so I could do Headless Horseman...... I already got the Arthas costume the year they came out with it and I'm not really interested in the other ones so I'll probably spend my candies on heirloom upgrades. Lordaeron wickerman as Alliance is always a good time tho
also new daily this year out in Bradensbrook which gives you a chance at hats :herosurprise:
