Doom - Rip and Tear

I've been spending the last couple of days with more blood than Blood-C seen.

How about the rest of you? Are you the kind of person that enjoys blood, guns, demons, and MIDI heavy metal?

I myself have been playing Brutal Doom along with the first Doom itself, I'm at episode 3 so far.

the heavy metal is awful plebeian music and i always mute it but yeah i like doom a lot, i remember playing the original doom on pc back like as a three or four year old little girl in the 90s; i like to do the ultraviolent. i think i've played every main game except final doom or whatever

i just finished bethesda's doom reboot recently. i don't know how i feel about it exactly. it's not a bad game but isn't great either. like the series is repetitive by nature, but something about the older games is a little more exciting and anxiety inducing. i'd say play it if it's discounted or used

Most recent doom was definitely worth the money, and it's worth it even moreso if you like the multiplayer. Story was solid, fun, glory kills didn't get too old. I almost 100% it before deciding to turn it in to move on to the next game.

Overall, very satisfying game.

I heard the multiplayer was very flawed.

I'm also reviving this topic because I'm playing doom again, project brutality mutators more specifically, the modding community is still very powerful for a good reason. I'm hoping to experiment sooner or later with a few greenhorned mod.

I like how I just got finished playing some DOOM when I saw this thread. Good game. Currently playing it in GZDoom in native resolution and full mouselook to mix things up. I've gotten tired of Brutal Doom so I'm playing it without that patch, but I have an Arachno soundfont set up so the midis sound heavenly, excuse the irony.

I looked at a "150 doom mods in 20 minutes" video to spice up my life a bit away from the brutal doom family tree, very good stuff!
