A fighting game I'm currently working on

I thought on what this topic would be best on. Either here, or the artwork one. This one had to be it since it involves games.

Ok, so I was planning to tell you all about this when a certain character I've planned for the game is currently in development. This character is related to what this site is all about. So in this trailer, at the end, is the teaser for that one character...

other than the glaring issue of being centered around a children's game that's the codifier for sturgeon's law, it looks like a solid game (except for the hud, but i'm not going to complain because not everyone has a graphic designer as their father)

how did you make this by the way? did you use a drag-and-drop program (scratch, game maker) or did you code it from the ground up? (don't be ashamed if it's the former; undertale of all things was created with game maker)

There's a game maker called 2D Fighter Maker 2002. (Someone made a 2015 and 2016 version).

Indeed, many things on Roblox are bad. Mainly because of the majority of the community. I'm glad I can withstand the pressure, even though I'm mentally disabled. As for it being considered as a children's game isn't really a good description for it anymore since lots of games are based off of teen+ content. Games based off of Anime, FPS, RPG, etc.

As for that HUD, it's going to change soon. Once I get to Quarter #3, which I'm getting really close to, the HUD will be different.

Hey, guys. I'm back! Anyways, I just wanted to update a little on how Chao is doing.

So far, I'm 1/3 done with Chao's moveset. All I have to do is input 3 more specials, a hover command, 2 LV1 Hypers, and a LV3 Hyper.

I haven't done LV3 Hypers for any characters yet. Chao will get his early.

I will also be making a video of Chao in progress just for you guys! You don't have to watch it if you only want to know what Chao looks like in the trailer.

Another small update:

Chao's hover command has been scraped. From what I've seen with Chao's way of fighting in the game, he'll be OP with hovering.

The video on Chao's development is going to be released next week. I got to find out where I can get the sounds for the projectiles (As close to the sounds on SA2B with the walkers).

This next thing isn't really important, but I did want to point it out. There was a dislike on the video and from all places that could receive the link to the video, the disliking individual came from here. Please refrain from doing such things, for neither of us will gain something from this. I really don't care about this, but I do not want to have controversies with the individual or more in the future based off a useless action. Thank you.

Chao's Moveset is complete! All that's left is his trailer! Now, I did say I was going to make a development video, but I got Chao done a lot quicker in which I didn't have time for the video.

Chao's trailer will be released this week or next week. The next time I come back here to update you all, I will post the link. Once Chao's trailer is up on YouTube, I will no longer post updates on this site involving my game. All of my focus on this game to be heard on this site was only because of Chao.

Moveset: Classic
Short Info: Literally named Chao and is also the only default looking Chao in the main sector. He uses the Chao Walker to fight.

Thank you all for being patient. I never knew I would make it this far in developing a fighting game on my own.

I'm sure some of you have comments in mind on why there are so many infinite combos and stuff, but I'll explain that later.

As I have have said before. The only updates on this game for me to talk about were only involving Chao. So, this is where it ends. Updates involving this game on this site are done.

Roblox was never really my thing back in the day, but I'm totally willing to give this a shot. It looks cool.

OK, Q&A!

Q: Why are there so many infinites?
A: I'm not good at patching stuff like this and I can't seem to improve on it. But as I think about it... When this game is ready for Online Play, it can be a way of sportsmanship.

Q: Why does the CPUs do infinites?
A: The only thing I can say is that it's to encourage the player that infinites are not good for players and is to show what it is like to being on the receiving end.

Q: Is it easy to make this stuff?
A: Yes. But, so many other things I do are also around and procrastination is high right now because I get little motivation.

Q: How far are you in this game's development?
A: Almost halfway. The game has 4 quarters. Each quarter has 10 characters and 18 stages. As of right now, I'm on Character #19 and Stage #35. So that's near the end of Quarter #2.

Anyways, I hope you all enjoy the game. This is all that I have to say. If you want to see more... well... I don't know what's the best way. I could say that you can subscribe to my channel, but there's other things that I do on that channel that you may not be interested in. Oh well, it's all up to you guys.
