Super NES Classic; contains official release of Star Fox 2

One must wonder why they didn't include Earthbound Beginnings in the NES Classic. It was the perfect opportunity honestly.
Anyways, there's gonna be like, seven being sold anywhere for the intended price when it releases, so I'm just gonna post this here now.

Nah they actually said they plan on stocking more than they did for NES Mini so we can expect 10 per store.

so 14 of them instead basically
sounds good
But yes, it's very good to hear they're going to at least try to meet demands this time.

From my understanding, there was much more of a demand for a Western release of Mother 1/Earthbound Beginnings than there was for Starfox 2's release, so that's most likely why it was released on the eShop. That being said, I'm still against it's release in the West anyway.

>nintendo says they're going to try harder to meet demands
>pre-orders sell out same day and most likely same hour with little warning
7 copies indeed.
I can understand not being prepared for the rush of people wanting the NES Classic.
I can understand not being prepared for people wanting the Switch after how the Wii U turned out.
But this just plain doesn't line up anymore.
There is only hope that the walk-ins that Game Stop and Toys "R" Us are offering provide many more than the pre-orders lead on.
Hope and hope alone.

Why's that? Did you just want Mother 3 instead of some old NES game that won't turn nearly as many heads towards the series, or...?Pufflehugs wrote:That being said, I'm still against it's release in the West anyway.

I don't want Mother 3 released here either, actually. Even more so than Mother 1, because Mother 3 would be censored to hell and beyond.

hey man there's nothing wrong with a little ""coffee"" from the local ""cafe"" or from some weird mole people who most certainly didn't taint your drink
That said, Nintendo is strict with their stuff, but without playing Mother 3 (maybe some day), I'd assume they'd actually let many things slide now, based on what they allow on their systems since they don't really crackdown that much on other companies or even some of their own stuff anymore.
(in other news, I had that "barfé" theme in the background and I couldn't focus while typing this)

Nah, everything in Mother 3 would get in easy. Nintendo let Binding of Isaac onto their consoles, so Mother 3 is def fair game.
EDIT: They also published Bayonetta 2.

I think they also had MadWorld as a Wii exclusive, but I could be remembering wrong.
Re: Super NES Classic; contains official release of Star Fox 2
It's these people that I have my eye on, Bayonetta and Binding of Isaac on a nintendo console don't matter in this regards too much.

I suppose when you're anti localization, shipping with anything but full JP dialogue is too much.

Oh boy, I can't wait for them to take the Happy-Happists out of the VC release of Earthbound!
And the eldritch abomination of a villain, and obtaining zen, and mushrooms, and psychedelic backgrounds, and the dancing girl, and the Mani-Mani statue, and the comment on that one person's hips,
and-and-
Yeah, I think Mother 3 is safe man. I can't see it going any further than replacing alcohol with coffee again to be consistent. Unless you have genuine problems with not seeing nearly as much of
some character's butt or something.
Speaking of which:
yeah this character sure got through airport security, alrighty
That's just me though.

I'd have problems with more games if I went that far pink.
