A lot of people think City Escape gives a lot of rings.The faster way is to take any shiny egg shell, I use a shiny orange and take it to the black market and sell it, now after selling don't exit, instead hold A,B,Y,X, and press Start, the game will reset and you'll have all the rings you had after selling, but in your garden the egg shell will still be there. This can be done any amount of times.
NOTE: every 3-5 sellings go to the Chao Garden after selling and restarting and save or else if you try selling again your game will reset completely by which I mean it will reset to Sonic Team's logo and you will have the same amount of rings you had before selling your 1st time.
I was trying this out, and it really works. even if you dont have a really expensive item, just use it on the pumpkins, skulls, or watermelons. it works great.
Try to get the most expensive thing you can get. For me it's a shiny grey egg, which when you sell the gg, gives you 2,500 rings! The most expensive thing you can get is the Shiny Lime green egg, which is somewhere around 3000 rings.
