I had a chao named chunky. I put him in the gameboy in the temporary chao garden. When I took him out, the shadow chao I had been working on forever on was deleted. Nope zilch, nada!
Not a trace. When I took chunky out. I looked around for my shadow chao but he wasn't there! Please Help.

Was the garden full when you took him out? He might have moved to a different garden.
Also I ask: Did you save after you sent your Chao back to the garden from the GBA?

There was only the shadow chao,chunky(Copy),and my sonic chao when I put him in there
