Are shiny two-tones actually possible? (Before I go spending
puu.sh/ckcvo/99123b3ba1.jpg <- These are my two-toned chao's, my favourite being the 'Blitz' chao, the White-Twotoned chao. All the chao i've tried to breed for two-tones have been two-toned instead of mono (yes, i know its 50% chance). But when i tried to make a Shiny Blitz Chao, it came out mono-toned. So can i make a Shiny two-toned chao?
Re: Are shiny two-tones actually possible? (Before I go spen
You most definitely can, and they look pretty cool. As you acknowledged, their is a 1/2 chance of getting a two-tone from a normal cross, and a 1/2 chance of getting a monotone.
Shininess is another factor on top of that, so from the easiest cross of Shiny White+Normal Chao, you have only a 1/4 chance of getting a Shiny White Two-tone Chao. Another 1/4 of Shiny White Monotone, another 1/4 for White two-tone, and another 1/4 for White monotone. But it is most definitely possible.
Although it should be asked, what version are you playing on? GC, or newer HD releases?
If the HD releases, Shiny Two-tones don't look like shiny version of two-tones, but instead are really bright, with minimal shading, and different colors used. But even still, those are genetically Shiny Two-tones.
