I was wondering, since I bred my sky blue chao with a normal one, just so I could have a blue two-woned dark shao, if I breed it with another one, lets say red, would it become a red and normal, or a mixed colour one?

I am not totally sure about this, as I have only extensively played the dreamcast version, and have never aquired any jewel/colored/anythingspecial chao.

To answer your question, it could be either of what you said, as any of the traits could turn up dominant and show up, being the two toned, the different colors, etc.

And if your chao were shiny/jewel, then that trait would be thrown into the mix as well. It is random.

ok then, I shall try and find heaps of different ones then, the only problem I get is after a while, I get bored of raising them, so I turn the TV off and wait for them too evolve ^-^;

I don't turn off the TV, but I either leave it there and read or play Halo or guitar, or change the channel :P...

Oh wait, I can't just change the channel like I can with a GC, but you could.

If you are intent on getting a certain chao, though, then save before they mate, and when they mate, keep throwing the egg at the wall and hope that you get what you want. In the case you don't, pause, then reset the console :P...

you know, rocking a chao egg is a more pratical way off hatching it.

Yeah, it is, but I throw it, because I have NEVER gotten a chao with evil eyes without throwing it (if the parent/past life had no evil eyes.)

5-6 times should do it if sonic/shadow...

But I still throw em often, when I don't get a face I want the last time...

oh and did you know there is a chao duplication glitch it is easy but maybe mooncow will post it if he knows and also i got 2 regular shiny chao by breeding a hero with a shiny neatural and it took forever

the duplication cheat needs the dreamcast version, and a GBA, or was it the GC version, I don't know.

Gamecube version involves the GBA, as both are by nintendo :P... I do not remember the details.

Dreamcast version involves a spare VMU, or just another memory card that can hold Chao Adventure 2, and copy the data.

Yes. The way you get a two tone is by breeding a color chao with a normal chao. Also you could breed a shiny chao wiht a normal chao you could get a shiny two tone too. Okay?

one of my dark chaos runs up to shadow when he whistles but when sonic goes in he sticks his tongue out at him, i havent abused the chao with anybody, is that normal behaviour.

Simply get sonic to pet him a lot and/or treat the chao very well, and then he may go up to Sonic upon whistling as well.

It's much safer on the Dreamcast version, so I just suggest getting them to somehow sit and then press the b button over and over again...

But Gamecube chao tend to get spoiled, so I can only say to add feeding, picking them up, giving chao drives/animals, etc. to that list. They stick their tongue out and yell "BAH!" when they have seen a character, but have not actually gotten to know them much or at all.

I even make sure that my chao like dark characters before I make them hero, and vice-versa.
