You go crazy
2 You have chao songs on your iPod/mp3 player
3 you put balls on your pets head and think they are chao

4) when you leave your gamecube on waiting for your chao to reincarnate/evolve and you come back and check every 5 minutes

5) when you randomly wake up at 3 in the morning and go turn it on just to check on your chao

6) when you have them as your background on your phone laptop computer and ipod.

^There are actually quite a many people in my school that know what chao are. It really surprised me too, bc i didnt think they were popular bc of asking some others if they knew what chao are.
