Here's the main post
So last topic was fairly simple, link a scary video. Easy yeah?
Well this time.... Link your favorite scary story. As long as it has horror elements, I don't care if it's the most terrifying thing in the world or a joke. As long as it's trying to be scary, you're good to go. Link it and give a small summary, same as last time.
What's mine you ask? Psychosis, the story about a man's decent into madness. A classic creepypasta that's incredibly well written and serves as the perfect start to anyone looking to get into scary stories.
CIHE: We need even MORE scary
Re: CIHE: We need even MORE scary
You know what I think is a good thing to mention? SCP-302
A sculpture of two ants carrying a leaf, when you make direct physical contact with it, an ant will randomly appear on your body. Whether it be inside or outside, who knows? On following days, you will have more ants covering your body increasing in species strength and number. The ants do not stop coming, to the point that the affected are killed by the foundation on the eighth day.

Okay, its more sci-fi than horror, but I'll submit Causal Noose as my entry. Just reread it and even knowing how it ends, it gave me shivers. Don't want to give away the ending, but it presents some rather terrifying implications for time machines that yank objects from the future.

Re: CIHE: We need even MORE scary
well i'm not sure if this counts, but i couldn't think of any actual stories. none stood out in my memory. feel free to not count this if it doesn't meet the requirements of the post.
for me, i always get creeped out, especially late at night, when i read mysterious theories. most recent examples is the possibility of catastrophe about a month ago in september thanks to that weird smiling face in space. a read that creeps me out pretty well is going through this steam article about the gaster mystery from undertale. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/ ... =520337707

i'm in love with the godzilla creepypasta
godzilla is one of my favorite things in general and i think this story starts off real strong
i think it got too tryhard at the end but
this one's always a good read to me
i like the idea of something really evil lurking inside of a game that specifically calls /you/ out to torment (of course only in fiction)
but yeah i think like, something in particular that resonates with me about it is how the player becomes very sympathetic towards the playable godzilla monsters that are losing against the evil entity (rip mothra ; n ;)
since i love the characters a lot, of course i would feel that it would be my fault if they end up killed at the hands of some really messed up evil thing
i really like the visual effort that was put into screenshots of the "haunted game", the visuals are really really neat and i honestly think a nice nes homebrew game could have come out of those visuals to some capacity
