anyway, the new update had a few new weapons that looked decent
that's about it, it's valve being valve and just trying to grab as much money as possible
they could have at least made the bread box work like the halloween 2012 update, where you occasionally had a drop of some items that, when you had like 7, could be crafted into one of the new items for free. nothing in this update is free, unless you count the short movie they released...

I crafted one of the new weapons, "The Classic".
Don't. It's mediocre compared to the other rifles... I shot a Soldier 4 times (while he stood still, taunting at me), and I couldn't kill him :(
It's designed for noscoping, and unlike CoD, noscoping in TF2 is really weak (roughly 45 damage per shot? if you can hit the enemy consistently, that's 5 shots to take down a soldier).
The other weapons are too expensive to craft!
UPDATE: actually i noscope headshot a scout in close range and he violently exploded
UPDATE 2: this is potentially the best weapon to use on turbine, if someone walks infront of you in a tunnel, their head is gonna be splattered
I'M STILL UPDATING THIS POST?
The Classic is actually a really good sniper rifle, just it cannot be used in a very serious matter.
It has to charge for around 3 seconds, leaving you walking really slow. Assuming you can bodyshot an enemy once it is charged, it usually instakills (except heavies which need to be headshot.)
It leaves you unable to quickscope, so if you're charged by a Solider, you're dead (unless you were holding a charge already).

Is it just me, or is Scout really overpowered?
There's no easy way to beat a competitive Scout, whereas every other class have obvious ways to combat them. Even though Scout is still my most played class, I feel bad for stomping noobs as him. I have no problem destroying as Scout with other good players though, but it's just aggravating when you're getting decimated by 2-3 good Scouts just jumping around, never running out of health...

Except for the fact that they can quite simply Mad Milk you (also stopping their burning) and finish you off, stand back slightly and alternate between Scatter and Pistol, Back Scatter you, etc.
I don't personally have a big problem of fighting experienced Scouts (I generally win at Scout 1v1's), but it gets frustrating at times.
