Are people still playing this after ORAS came out?

I can't help but feel given the fact most people came back to CI for a smash tournament, it might look like an insult Tobi even if you never meant for it to look like one.Tobi wrote:Are people still playing this after ORAS came out?
Now all of you, didn't you hear the commercials?

Re: Smasher's Club
*poke* ey, this thing still alive?
Anyhow, to what I actually wandered in here for:
On another (smash) forum that Keaton and I are on, they have these neat tournament-style group/crew battles. Basically you take on another crew whenever you would like to, earn BP (battle points) and compete to be the best crew. Him and I started our own crew there to compete, but have yet to gather enough members to actually start competing. So lurking around for more members to recruit, I've come here.
Would anyone be interested in joining Keat(KeatonLabs) and I's crew? I know we have a handful of good smashers here who would make excellent additions to our team.
You must at least have some form of smash 4 (perferably with Sm4sh Wii U, but 3ds is fine too) to participate. You don't have to compete in all crew battles, and there is no regular schedule to when crew battles happen, so being available is always a plus. (We'll always make convenient battle dates to make sure we have enough people available to battle~)
At the moment we're looking for at least 6 more members till we can start battling, but there's no limit to how many members we have ( as far as I know. ^u^)
As stated, though, this happens on another forum. (I won't be posting the link since it'll probably be removed for advertisement?) so if you want to join the crew you will most likely have to join the other forum too. :3
If anyone thinks this sounds fun or would like to join, please PM myself or Keaton for a link to the forum/more information. Even if you can't join or aren't interested, thanks for reading this anyways. ouo

Re: Smasher's Club
I don't own a Wii U because I kind of want to go to college again... Instead I bought a N64 but that's besides the point. I don't really get why you'd buy the (almost) same game for a different console a few weeks later, it's COD all over again.

Re: Smasher's Club
^ Because smash bros. It doesnt count Bl
Also, mewtwo is a ton of fun but... dying from an f-smash at like 50%(give or take distance to the ledge) is pretty ridiculous

Re: Smasher's Club
Shooting games do add new mechanics occasionally. From what I know, the Wii U version adds 8 player mode, level customization, new stages that the portable version doesn't have (though also vice versa)... And everyone that decided to play that game instead.
I'd say it's comparable.

Re: Smasher's Club
The 3ds version fits more the Japanese style of life, where portable games are huge due to busy schedules and gaming cafes. The Wii U version fits the American style of how we play smash. Everyone's happy!

Re: Smasher's Club
Lucas, Roy and Ryu have been confirmed for SSB4! As well as a whole bunch of costumes and stages.
Unfortunately, it's all DLC you have to pay for. Have fun with it you guys =3=
Personally, I loved playing as Lucas and Roy, but I don't like Roy appearing, since that's the 5th Fire Emblem character they've introduced, while I have not heard anyone talk about Fire Emblem when not related to SSB. Meanwhile, Zelda only has 4 characters. I'm not saying it's unfair because I love Zelda so much, but because Zelda is pretty much in the top 3 of Nintendo's main game, while Fire Emblem isn't. On top of that, Marth now has 2 clones. Marth is better at further range, Roy is better at close range and Lucina is balanced between both. Great.

Re: Smasher's Club
I like every character in this pack and im ecstatic that Dreamland 64 is back, and that more 64 stages are coming. Roy feels amazing and is my favorite fire emblem character in this game, Lucas is tight, and Ryu is really fun. But i have to agree with Tobi. The fact that Fire Emblem is getting more representation Irks me to no end, while Donkey Kong is stuck with 2 (K. Rool maybe?) Thankfully he has been somewhat decloned in his standard attacks but Meh.

Re: Smasher's Club
Well tbh I think it's fair to say Donkey Kong belongs to Mario, since it originated from it.
