On Emerald, I have 2 badges now and I'm currently fighting a Team Aqua grunt in Staleport City. I now have Vlad the Zubat lv. 13 Leech Life, Supersonic, Steel Wing, and Astonish; IronDragon the Aron lv. 14 Rock Tomb, Cut, Metal Claw, and Headbutt; Hound Dog lv. 14 Tackle, Howl, Sand-Attack, and Bite; Blazer the Torchic lv. 16 Scratch, Growl, Peck, Ember; Water Leaf lv. 17 Astonish, Growl, Absorb, and Nature Power; and Beaker lv. 18 Peck, Growl, Wing Attack and Quick Attack. My regin as the 'Vampire Trainer', as my friends call me, has begun in Emerald. XD

Leave them in the Day Care on Route 3. Then do fun stuff while you wait, come back to see how much they leveled up, and then take them back or wait some more. Sure, the Day Care costs money, but not too much. It should be affordable. And remember, you can raise two at a time in the Day Care. And don't worry, your Pokemon is prevented from evolving while it is in the Day Care, just in case you want to keep it the way it is.

One last note: If you don't want to get a Pokemon egg, make sure that both Pokemon in the Day Care are the same gender.

I met up with a friend of mine that I hadn't seen for many weeks, and discovered that I WAS the only one of my pokemon loving friends who DOESN"T have B/W. D`= He was kind enough to let me play a new game on it as long as I didn't save it. I got up to the second gym leader when I had to stop. I had a team constisting of
Volter-Blitzle Lv. 13, Quick Attack, Tail Whip, Charge, and Shock Wave
Fred-Lillipup Lv. 15, Leer, Tackle, Odor Sleuth, and Bite
Steroids-Timburr Lv. 15, Leer, Focus Energy, Bide and Low Kick
Peedove-Pidove Lv. 15, Air Cutter, Growl, Leer, Quick Attack
Brocoli- Pansage Lv. 15, Scratch, Leer, Cut, Vine Whip
and Porkchop- Tepig Lv. 16, Tackle, Tail Whip, Ember, Flame Charge.
I lost my liking of Team Plasma right when I got to the point where a grunt kicked a Mauna. I said ((actuallly outloud to my friend)) "They hurt a Pokemon! That means WAR!!" My friend wouldn't stop laughing on how stupid Team Plasma is, and how funny it was that they're like "We wish to give Pokemon freedom, so we'll hurt them for their freedom!" *Shakes head* At least he agrees taht I'm NOTHING like N. Who in the right mind names their kid 'N'?? It...doesn't make any sense!! @.@ But..I'm guessing that that's pretty good for playing for only 1 to 2 hours. And I lost it all in a second. XDDD

yep, except that I don't have a Blitzle named Volter. I just got past the 2nd gym and I now have a Herdier, Sawk, Pansage, Tepig, Pidove, and Timburr. I'm going through Pinwheel Forest, I stepped in a rustling patch of grass and...ran into a Pansear. =] I caught it and named it Flame. ((Yes, after you-know-who. *cough*Flame*cough* XDDD))

I have the Strategy Guide, and I looked ahead in it to see what was coming so I could be prepared. And so I found out about the second battle. However, my strongest Pokemon (my Servine) is in his early Level 60's already. So I'm not too scared. :)

My Krokorok is Level 49, my Woobat is in his early Level 40's, my two Patrat are 38 or 39, and my Purrloin is Level 29.
Yeah, some of my Pokemon might not be strong enough, but hopefully I won't have to use them.

I decided to try battling the Elite Four.
So far:

Marshal: Beat him on the first try, none of my Pokemon fainted, none of my items were used. :D

Shauntal: It took quite a few resettings, but I eventually beat her. However, one Hyper Potion was used, along with an Ether afterwards. Two Pokemon fainted. (Luckily, I have Revives/Max Revives!)

...And that's how far I am in the Elite Four.
