Typhlosion/ Blaziken/ Charizard/ Infernape/ Emboar/ Delphox

My favorite fire type is actually Fennekin. However, my favorite fully-evolved one is Typholsion.

As a side note, I'm really surprised at how few votes Charizard has, considering how popular it is as a whole.

Charzard (Just flat, not megas) is quite underwhelming in the current meta with all the power megas.

I personally love Delphox in theory but it requires at least +1 Sp Atk to be powerful, and gets no where against any wall pokemon, not to mention that a lot of popular pokemon builds counter delphox *coughcoughpursuitlockcoughcough* and magician is great in theory but is poor in practice due to the fact that it can't steal when its holding an item at the beginning of the turn (save for items like power herb) which ruins all plans I've thought up about flame gem/psychic gem magician fennec.

However, in terms of competitive viability Blaziken is my all time competitive <3. Just a shame he's uber :c #RIPBlazikenOU2013

Blaziken is banned because of speedboost ability... Give Typhlosion that ability and he'd get banned too, though in all honesty I can not see Typhlosion with speed boost.

Actually he's banned because he has 180 base attack at mega, meaning that if you have a helpful nature, IV trained him in Atk, and EV trained the attack he would easily be around 450 attack, and that's not even counting his speed, which makes him an INSANE sweeper and if he can get even a single swords dance he can just slaughter an entire team.

Sounds like my mega Charizard X (with stone from toram due to me having Y) with swords dance if I speed trained it.

Mega Charzard X has a base attack of 130, and if you add a swords dance to one variable, you have to add it to the other, still making Mega Blaziken a much better sweeper. Also, Charzard's maxed everything in Atk only leaves it at ~400 atk, give or take, with their speeds being the same

Remember that tough claws can even that field by puting fire/dragon moves at 2.25x strength for the physical ones. And given mega x speed it's great for sweeps. Also I combat speedboat blaziken with CB speed boost Nincada with dig. That itself is deadly as well.

I see where you're coming from, but I personally feel that Blaziken is a better sweeper. Also, that nincada play can easily be countered by having them switch into any flying type. There's not much nincada could do against our lord and saviour pidgeot.

Did I say Nincada I'm sorry I meant ninjask, Nincada can't get speedboost. And honestly do you expect a Ninjask to honestly have dig? Be honest, would that catch you off guard to see a flying type use that?

I'd be more caught off guard to see a ninjask in OU anyway, but still. Dig is a 2 turn move. Unless you add a power herb onto that, I don't see it as all that much of a threat.

The only way to reliably get rid of a Ninjask using dig is to outright hit it the turn it'll attack. Soak up the damage, or you'll regret it as soon as it has a two stage speed boost to give to its friend.

This is assuming it doesn't have Choice band, because if you put it on Ninjask, all it can do is use dig which kinda kills its usability. You can't even baton pass if you put Dig on it.

Fire monkey Hell yeah! As I'm sure I said earlier in the thread my all time favorite starter is the typhlosion line, but the Infernape line is a close second cuz I love monkeys and fire.
