Ah man, I really want a shiny now.

Any tips on how to breed one?

Use the Masuda Method (breed with a Pokemon from another country) and cross your fingers.

Anyways, I've found a shiny Eevee (without chaining :D), breeding for a shiny Fennekin using the Masuda Method, and have failed several attempts at getting a shiny Zoruark. Any tips as to what to evolve my Eevee into?

Got a Shiny Floette from Rentu.

And I managed to find and catch a Shiny Luvdisc through chain fishing! <3

I hope to trade with one of my acquaintances, who has a Shiny Swoobat. I just need something to make it a fair trade that I'm willing to give away... Would a Super Size Gourgeist work, or is that not rare enough? Hmm...

I'm breeding Claunchers by Masuda Method in hopes of a Shiny. No luck so far.

Got a Shiny Relicanth through chain fishing. It took a lot longer to find than my Luvdisc.

Also, I failed to obtain the Shiny Swoobat from my acquaintance. It seems that they traded it for a Shiny Floatzel (since that's what they offered me today instead of Swoobat), although there is no way to know for sure.
So if anyone here has a Shiny, female Woobat or Swoobat, please let me know if you're willing to trade it to me. I have a Super Sized Gourgeist to give in return, although I can hunt for another Shiny if you think that's more fair. It has to be something I can fish for, though, since chain fishing is the easiest method for me. Thanks in advance.

UPDATE: Turns out my Gourgeist has really good IVs. The judge described it as "oustanding potential!"

It only has HP and SPD max IVs but I'm more than happy because it has a Modest Nature, Dragon Pulse and Confuse Ray

I've been spending a lot of time wandering in friend safari! So far I've found a shiny phantump (which I traded for a shiny drifblim) and two shiny shuppets, one of which I traded to my friend. :)

While breeding a Cyndaquil I got on the GTS for one that had a nature that didn't have a nature detrimental to it's stats other than Attack, I got a shiny Cyndaquil.

I was in Friend Safari looking for a female Panpour, and I found a SHINY WARTORTLE. I REPEAT, SHINY WARTORTLE! If I ever form a team of Shinies, he's gonna be in it for sure! He doesn't have a Hidden Ability, but I don't care really.

I named him Waterballs, Fox Boy's suggestion~
(Well, according to him he was just going for a Spongebob reference, but whatever.)

He was actually a pain in the butt to catch, when I found female Wartortles in FS I caught them in a single Quick Ball, but he took quite a few tries. Eventually got him in a Repeat Ball when my Fletchinder burned him.
