I was hunting for a particular Ralts until I encountered a shiny red flowered Flabébé.

I'm quite happy with my capture but I still need that Ralts I was looking for.

I now have the Pokeradar and will now be chain g to try and get a shiny. Like I said though, still haven't encountered one by random encounter ever, so how's that for bad luck.

She has perfect IVs in Att/Def./SpD. too (Well also Speed but that's bad for a Honedge)

Oy, it's hard to believe that tipping increases shiny chance.

But might try it out anyways.

i'm assuming that 'tap the bottom screen ___ of times and you'll hatch a shiny' method has been long removed since diamond/pearl?

Are shinies easier to find in the FS, or are you just annoyingly lucky. :(

I've heard of a fair few shinies found in their, I suppose that would ell to explain why you can't chain in there. Still with my luck I doubt I'll eer find one there <\3

when i get to that water part of the game i'll definitely try the shiny fishing thing
but i don't have the patience for that, so is it definitely between 1-100 pokemon or was that an estimate?

You're not the only one bro. Only shiny I've ever run into was a shiny Koffing. Everything else was hacked unfortunately so I feel your pain.

@Toram: Dood, I'm sorry. What I find really annoying is that some YouTubers were like "This is outrageous, I'm less than half of the way through the game and I'm yet to find a random-encounter shiny!" And were being so snobbish about it. Aparently the shiny finding ratio has gone down for gen 6 anyway meaning it should be easier to find shinies!

@Crash: Consecutive fishing is actually really easy if you have a suction cupper, a billion times easier than chaining. I would recommend trying it sometime!

I haven't really come across any videos on youtube of people griping about not finding Shinies honestly XD But I know the first shiny I want is a Honedge.

CAN SOMEONE EXPLAIN THIS TO ME

How are so many people getting shinies in the friend safari? I've been up for the past 12 HOURS TRYING TO GET A FREAKING SHINY SHUPPET, and nothing. (I'm sleep deprived to hell) Is there a certain method to get a shiny in the friend safari?
