Quick question...

If you put Pokémon from x or y into the Pokémon bank and then delete the file on x or y, do the Pokémon from that file in the Pokémon bank dissapears or will they stay there safely for me to reset my game and put them in the boxes of the new game?

Anything in the Pokémon Bank will stay in the bank even if the file they originate from is deleted, so yeah, they'll safely remain there. However, since you can't store items, you'd still lose any mega stones/etc. you'd have in that file\. If you have Blazikenite, you might still want to give it to somebody to hold onto if you don't want to lose it, but otherwise putting your Pokes in the bank will keep them safe.
