Favorite (and least favorite) Electric type?

Anyway, onto the point of the topic. What's your favorite Electric type (and vice versa, if applicable), and why?

My FAVORITE has to be Luxray. My Luxray, Sparky, has served me very well throughout Platinum; if not for Nacho's suggestion to catch him as a Shinx while on the JM, I would never have done it, instead relying on Inferno, my Infernape (Chimchar at the time). My least favorite? Pichu. Sure, Pikachu's great and all, but its former state is very weak and is unable to really pack a good punch for combat. The only thing that made it worth catching it was the fact that a. I could evolve it into Pikachu and b. I had an XP Share on hand.

I too quite like Luxray. I also quite like Electabuzz's evolution line, Jolteon, and Chinchou(if only for the contradictory typing). Also, most of the electric-type Legendaries are quite cool looking.

Can't really say there are any I outright dislike, much less hate. As a general rule, my opinions on various mons tend towards either liking it or being apathetic.

My favorite electric type is kinda a tie between Jolteon (also my fav eeveelution) and the Shinx line.

Least favorite would have to be Stunfisk 'cause my god, why does this pancake exist..?

My favorite electric type is Rotom, without a doubt, though I've also recently liked Amphabulous.

I'm not really a fan of Stunfisk myself, however, but I don't dislike it either.

Mine is Pikachu. There aren't many great electric types, and Pikachu is just very nostalgic for me.

My favorite electric type has to be Magnezone. I like how its three magnemite mixed together, similar to Magneton but bigger. My least favorite would have to be Dedenne. Its just an electric mouse that nintendo added to keep the electric mice family growing, and they did a bad job making it. I mean its cute, but its terrible, its a special attacker, but gets like no special fairy moves. Plus its weak. All that helps it is it gets nuzzle.

Good god I like alot of Electric types, most of my favorites though are Unova. I love Galvantula, Zebstrika and Eelektross. I also really like Helioptile and Heliolisk, though out of all of these ones, Galvantulas my favorite. I love it's design and concept, but I have no idea how good it's stats are as I don't go online for battles, and it's VERY rare when I do.


Out of all the electric types I actually don't like Pikachu that much. I guess it's just the attention it gets(That and it says it's name in X/Y which is a trait that I Despise), but I don't hate Pikachu itself, just don't like that it's the only pokemon in its line to get that much attention. Pichu and Raichu need some love too.

My least favorite electric type for the pokemon itself is a tie between Stunfisk and Dedene. I hate stunfisk cuz it's just an ugly ass pokemon and a stupid concept in my opinion, and I hate Dedene because of it's fairy typing, which I personally think is a slap in the face to dragon types, and because it's just a lazy rip-off of Pikachu, or Raichu. Makes me think more of a Raichu than pikachu admittedly.

Favorite: Pikachu wasn't the original mascot for pokemon, he'd possibly he held in higher regard had he not been the face of the games.

I also love the Ampharos, as well as Shinx line very much due to how useful they are should you pick one up.

Dislike: Pikachu, while being cute gave birth to a breed of useless rodents that rob potential spots for eeveelutions. Oddly enough, Azumarill is technically in this rodent family despite being water/fairy. It's actually become much more potent due to its secondary typing.

Favorite would have to be either the shinx line because of it's reliability in battles or Jolteon because of its high speed stats, if you can ev train all its other stats, its pretty good.

My least favorite, is a tie between Stunfisk,because its practically useless in combat and its just too ugly, and Tynamo, I've justnever been fond of Tynamo even though it's evolutions aren't too bad, i could just careless for it.

^I wouldn't hold my breath. If the Pikachu line gets a Mega Evo, they will probably give it to Pikachu instead of Raichu, making using a Thunderstone on Pikachu even less appealing.

My favorites tie for the Pikachu line, Helioptile, Galvantula, and Luxray. My least favorites have been Eelektross and Stunfisk, the latter mainly because its design doesn't really appeal to me and I always forget both Pokemon exist.
