"When good Mods go bad, who will be Mann enough to stop them?!"
Update 1 - Patch 1.1
Update 2 - Patch 1
The fields were quiet, just another day at Chao Island. Abandoned topics, barren discussions, the distant sounds of a new member spamming the away function... Just another day.
Except this was anything but another day. For months now, members of Chao Island had been locked in a bitter struggle between who should run the site. The REDs (Republic of Ending Descrimination), and the BLUs (Bright Lads Uprising) were at war, costing hundreds and thousands of User deaths. The REDs were being led by Sable and Lana, the dynamic duo who could influence the world if it wasn't for Triert and Blasphemy, leaders of the BLUs. Both had an equal amount of power that was capable of taking over Chao Island, if not for the opposing side trying to achieve this same goal.
In the meantime though, a group of six users were enjoying their day as though said war didn't even exist.
Patrick was showing off his wicked dance moves while snowy watched in awe, his newness being covered up by his minor achievements on this forum. Patrick had been crowned the king of detectives and wore a crown to prove it, his style slicker than anyone else.
Roivas had drunken a bottle too many, falling asleep while he stood guard at the front. Though, it wasn't as though it mattered, his trusty sentry would keep watch even if he didn't. After the "Battle of Feminism", he had slowly become more and more of an alcoholic, drowning his anger in gallons of booze.
Aidan, Crash, and Brianna all were dancing and singing to random songs, being loud and obnoxious enough to wake any dead user from their sleep. That didn't matter though, they were dead. They could kill dead, that was easy. For the longest time, these three had refused to be a part of the massacre both the REDs and the BLUs committed. However, through persuasion of threats, they joined with RED and fought against anything BLU related.
In the distance though, a strange structure was creeping towards the outpost.
"Beep, in the distance there are six targets. One sentry stands guard. There are no reinforcements for miles." The robot shook and clattered, the metal parts it was made of hitting against each other repeatedly.
"Options?" The bearded bot asked, his serial number showing the name Crazo - Series 3077.
"We can't take them out without that sentry in front of us, boop. However, we'll need a distraction first, beep." The Sniper bot replied, his robotic voice monotone and steady.
"I can do that. Follow me." The headless bot said, the serial number on him reading Torr0 - Series T0NKA.
"ALRIGHT LADIES, LINE UP! TIME FOR A GAME OF DODGEBALL!" Patrick laughed, tossing the ball up and down. The outpost had been quiet for the past few weeks, as not much came through these parts. So, the six passed time by playing games and practicing their shooting.
"Patrick! That's a live bomb in your hand and you know it!" Aidan shouted, cowering in fear like the rest of them did.
Suddenly though, Roivas' sentry started to beep.
"Eh? What the hell?!" Roivas quickly ran over to his sentry to see what the alarm was.
"What's happening?" Crash asked. "Yeah, seriously!" Snowy chimed in, cowering still at Patrick.
A huge explosion shook the area, blowing the gate up into little pieces.
"Dear lord..." Roivas whispered under his breath, his jaw dropping at the sight.
Patrick approached from behind. "What the hell is going on? We're playing dodgeball-"
"Bloody hell..." Patrick was stunned and stared at the opening of the hole with fear in his eyes.
The rest of the team poked their heads up to see what the commotion was.
"This isn't good!"
"This can't be happening!"
As the dust settled, the six looked on in horror as they saw what emerged from it.
"It's the mods!"
