Mannhattan, the main producer for all RED goods. Experiencing many attacks in the past from BLU forces, it held strong with its nearly infinite supply of weapons and mannpower. However, today is quite different for RED Users. Today they were fighting more than just BLU soldiers, they were defending themselves against the Mods.

Spoiler:

Soldiers, Demos, Engineers, Snipers, Heavies, all of them lined up and prepared to take the blunt of the Mod force that was approaching them. Most of these Users were new recruits, as many veterans had died in the city from the Shiro attack.

Spoiler:

"Listen up Ladies and Gents," Lana commanded, "We are here for one thing: Destroying Mods. We've recently obtained intelligence that the Mods are going to be attacking this base in an attempt to destroy our one source of resource income. Thus, crippling us early in the war and ending us quickly."

Spoiler:

"You all have met Linds, one of our top rank officers." Lana said, gesturing to Linds.

"Yes, hello everyone. We have decided to include you six in this because, well, while you're not exactly the best we have, you have more info on these mods then most of us so far."

Spoiler:

"Crash, you're going to be our striker. Take out as many of them as you can as fast as you can. I trust your aim won't be terrible, so do me proud."

Spoiler:

"Patrick, you're going to need to be setting traps for our Mod friends. Have fun blowing these jerks to bits. Remember to aim for MedBots, large groups of Mods, and anything else that clangs like a Bot."

"Vince, you're our defense. Keep our soldiers safe, and wrangle stray SpyBots and EngieBots if you can."

Spoiler:

"Aidan, you of course are our support. Keep us healed, and remember to pop it, don't drop it. Cause if you drop it, you're dead."

"Brianna, you're the push. When we need to move up, you're going to be the force that drives us forwards. Be brave, and be strong."

"Snowy, you just do your best not to get shot or something."

Linds coughed and smiled. "As you probably saw on the way in, our intel paid off. They've landed and we're all simply waiting for them to come out and attack."

"As usual, our explosives are stored in the hatch by the main base. Idiotic maybe, but we had nowhere else to put it." Lana chimed in, sighing a bit.

"Anyhow, that's all the info we have for this. Any questions?" Lana asked, glancing around at the group.

"Why isn't BLU helping us in this war? If you don't mind me asking." Patrick asked cautiously.

Spoiler:

"BLU?..." Linds questioned, anger forming on her face.

Spoiler:

"Well, we took a heavy hit back at the city... Don't you think it'd be wise to just make a truce so we can destroy them together?" Brianna added.

Spoiler:

"Seriously, this war is bigger than just us. We can't fight two people at the same time..." Snowy nervously tossed in, unsure of what the reaction was gonna be.

Spoiler:

"We are not going to associate with BLU, especially with Tree. Once we finish up this little Mod problem, we're going to go back to destroying BLU and becoming the leading force in Chao Island." Lana declared. "That is that. I'm sorry."

Spoiler:

Meanwhile, two users who had been goofing off were rushing back to their posts. "Crap crap CRAP! I can't believe that took that long! We're gonna get yelled at so bad!" Keaton yelled, Dev close at his heels.

"What the hell...?" Dev mumbled. Keaton stopped in fear as he was speechless on what to say to the picture before him.

Spoiler:

The first barrier of Users had been wiped out, not without a fight, but they hadn't done enough damage to make a huge dent in the Mod forces. "RUN! WE GOTTA WARN EM!" Keaton shouted.

Spoiler:

The roof of the main base housed a few Snipers, watching out for any danger there might be on the front. "Man and then I was like 'oh so you think you're so cool? well guess what, you SUCK!' haha!" the two Users laughed at this short story, ignoring their duties and letting that one guy watch out for Mods.

"Eh? What the hell is that?" That one guy whispered, zooming in closer.

Spoiler:

"Sound the alarm! SOUND THE ALARM!" Dev shouted, both of them rushing away from the wave of mods approaching them.

Spoiler:

"Oh GOD! INCOMING!" That one guy yelled. "Sound the alarm!"

Spoiler:

The alarm sounded, alerting the base to the threat approaching. "Oh man, ok all of you! To the front line let's go!" Linds shouted, ushering them out the door. "Lana, stay back and prepare your charge. We'll need it soon."

"Of course. Good luck everyone." Lana said simply, running to the back room to begin prepping her charge.

While the wave seemed menacing, the six Users felt as though they could handle it. However, they'd need plenty of teamwork and cunning tactics to get things done.

I wanna apologize for such a weak update. My Gmod crashed twice during this and I lost all this update progress, and due to complications with the animator, everything got ruined. So I had to really rush this thing done and hope it didn't end too bad.

BREAKING NEWS: This image just in; Fox Boy fights with skybox causes havoc in Hale's Coal Town, ignoring the outcry of fans for an update to his story entitled "Mann Vs Mod".
When trying to interview him, he simply muttered and pushed us aside. Drug addiction from his newfound fame? Or is his head simply stuck in the skybox? We may never know (what a skybox is or why it apparently exists outside of video games).

As you can see, the giant Spy clipped into the skybox, which is why
-He doesn't have his usual unusual (hue) private eye as the smoke effect didn't appear.
-The head isn't lit.
-The hat isn't positioned perfectly.
