Can Chatbox lag be fixed?

Can Chatbox lag be fixed?

It keeps happening to me from time to time. It's annoying, so I was wondering... Is there a way to fix it, or do I just have to wait for it to stop?
What is my life anymore?

Citrus, I don't know how to fix it but I only know lag is related to the internet connection. Anyways, such thing never happened to me so, if it isnt your connection, i don't know!
