No. You cannot get a different color through breeding. The only way to get a Lime Green Chao is buying one.

actually, i got 2 lime green chao with yellow two tone by breeding so yes it is possible.

Your Yellow Two-Tone probably had some Lime Green heritage. Either that, or the other parent did.

As amusing as it is to see people deny the solid facts of Chao DNA, I guess I have to reiterate myself.

Color DNA does not blend to create a mix of two colors and a Color Gene does not appear without a parent, grandparent, or so on that had that Color Gene. Same for all the other genes.

2. A Baby Two-Tone Yellow Chao looks like a Two-Tone Lime Green Chao until it evolves into an Adult stage.

Chao DNA works in a solid way that cannot be broken. You cannot make a gene. The gene has to be present in the Chao's family or it isn't the Chao you think it is.

Chao genetics work like regular genetics. for example you arent going to be born with black skin unless someone along your heritage were black. now you cant get a lime-green chao unless one of the two you mated had a lime green grandparent, parent, etc. thats the fact. no arguing it. you just might not remember if its carrying the lime-green trait or not. thus making it seem random.

The two Chao you bred obviously had a parent or grand parent that was Lime Green. That is how it happened. You didn't even say what Chao you bred to make it.
