I suggest putting it on the first post so you can just ignore questions like that.

Re: How to Identify a "Mint" Chao (New: Video Guide)
Hmm, once i got a white chao that turned red when I petted it with Dark people and a pink/lavender when I petted it with Hero.
I think the parents were translucent. But I still don't know what happened.

Yesh, I know my username is dumb, but I picked it because my friend drew an emo chao and it was adorable, so thats why I picked it. :3

Re: How to Identify a "Mint" Chao (New: Video Guide)
I believe it's actually called a "Caribbean" Chao. I've gotten it many times before.
Re: How to Identify a "Mint" Chao (New: Video Guide)
The Chao doesn't have an official name but most people have agreed on the term "Mint" Chao since the Chao is a mint color.

I have two, but they're translucent and shiny. I'm pretty sure they're mint but one's evolved and the other isn't. The one that's evolved has a purple highlight to it.

Re: How to Identify a "Mint" Chao (New: Video Guide)
Well, first let's look at a typical Dark Fly "Mint" Chao.
Now let's look at a typical Dark Fly Two-Tone White Chao.
The only reason why "Mint" Chao look how they do is because Sonic Team wanted them to. The biological explanation is that a "Mint" Chao is a Shiny Two-Tone White Chao with a Green Tint, but even evolution specific parts might remain. In fact, for all we know, a "Mint" Chao is a Shiny Two-Tone White Chao in which the parts that are turned white are turned green, this meaning this could just be the lost Two-Tone Green Chao. I haven't really thought much about it, but JmT probably has some good theories on it since he's got through with seeing Non-Shiny and Mono-Tone versions of the "Mint" Chao.

Do the chao's found in the Adventure Fields in SADX count as jewel?
Re: How to Identify a "Mint" Chao (New: Video Guide)
The Gold Chao and the Silver Chao do. The Black Chao does not.

Re: How to Identify a "Mint" Chao (New: Video Guide)
^ If you look on the Black Market Guide in Chao Help and Support, it says...
Anyhow, unless you have one of the Sonic Advance games and buy a jewel chao in the Tiny Chao Garden and transfer it to SA2B, or transfer a gold or silver chao from SADX to SA2B, there is no way to get any jewel chao.
EDIT::
@ TimOTom: Well, there's that way, I guess. :U

Re: How to Identify a "Mint" Chao (New: Video Guide)
actually Renea you can get a jewel chao without SADX or a sonic advanced game
you will need...
-NGC
-SA2B
-GBA
-NGC GBA connector cable
-a chao
-the will to work hours on mini games
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
now you need to...
1. connect the NGC GBA cable to slot 4 in the NGC
2. connect a GBA WITHOUT a game in it to the NGC GBA connector cable
3. turn on the NGC
4. go into the chao garden
5. turn on your GBA
6. pick up your chao and go to the GBA thing in the garden
7. Press "DROP OFF"
8. your chao will be cloned into the TCG on the GBA
9. play the mini games until you have enough rings to purchase a jewel chao from the shop accessible by pressing [L]
10. go back into the chao garden on SA2B
11. go into the little GBA thing
12. select "PICK UP"
13. select the things you want to transport from the TCG on the GBA to your chao garden on SA2B
14. Enjoy your jewel chao
I hope this wall of text was useful
