Recently I have noticed that a lot of the people on this site are a bunch of Eggman haters (and not just for chao raising, but in general). The typical response is, "EEEWWW!!! I hate Eggman! He's tall, fat, and stupid ". Eggman is an important character in the franchise, and without him, there is no Sonic and no Chao. His past is almost completely unknown making him an interesting and mysterious character.

For those Eggman haters, please give me legitimate reasons as to why you hate Eggman (not for Chao raising, we all know he is the worst character to raise with). Please do not give me answers like the one I described above.

For those non-haters, please back me up on this one!

Worst Chao Raiser? Why do you say that? He is the Dark counterpart of Tails who is the best character to raise Hero Chao with and like Tails his jump does not count as an attack making him very good for raising Dark Chao.

Here's some backup:

Without Eggman, Sonic would probably be some lowlife hobohedgehog living on the streets. There would be no kidnappings, no supporting characters like Tails (He idolized Sonic because he was famous) or Shadow (Eggman was the one who woke him up.), so what Eggman can't jump to the top of the Chao Garden. Without Eggman, there would be no Sonic games because he is one of the main antogonists of the Sonic series, it's like saying "What would Mario games be like without Mario?"

Sonic 1: Would've not happened = Lack of Eggman

Sonic 2: Same as Sonic 1

Sonic 3 & Knuckles: Same as Sonic 1 & 2

Sonic Adventure:Would've not happened = Lack of Chaos (Eggman shattered the Master Emerald)

Sonic Adventure 2: Would've not happened = Lack of Shadow (Eggman freed Shadow, Shadow robbed the bank that Sonic got the blame for)

Sonic Rush/Sonic Rush Adventure: VERY different storyline

Sonic 06: Would've not happened = Eggman was the one who attacked Elise

Sonic storybook: All the same except there would be no King in rings

Sonic Unleashed: Would've not happened = Eggman freed Light/Dark Gaia

Sonic 4: Will not happen, Eggman is no doubt going to be the primary Antogonist.


The only Sonic game that would've happened would've been the STORYBOOK series, the dumbest of them all.

@ Lunar Paladin: I say this mostly because he is the most different (I didn't mean to say the worst). His size causes the camera to be shifted way high; and to be honest, he walks way goofy lol.

Yes, i noticed alot of idiots hate sonic characters because they're fat or they call him stupid. It's just stereo typing.

Eggman is essential for the series for many reasons:

1: All decent videogames need a bad guy(like Mario+ Bowser, Link+ Ganon etc)

2: Most videogames need a rather fat character for people to make fun of(He even makes fun of himself Eggman- his real name is Ivo Robotnik)

3: If he was replaced with a different bad guy, Sonic would probaly end up fighting useless enemies which could do virtually nothing, rather than high-tech robots)

4: Etc...

So i really have no idea why there are so many Eggman haters...

Not constantly and just because. I mean just because he's fat doesn't mean you get to yell at him all you want. "HUR HUR, HE'S FAT! HAHAHAHAHA!!!" No, just....no.

Oh my god, this is mindless argueing. Make fun of him, i don't cre, but please just stop making three word posts that don't really explain anything to justify your opinion. I swear if you put "Okay, i agree." Or just some 5 words or less post under MY post saying you agree i will freaking lose it. (Newer users do this to me SO much that i swear they just graduated kinder garden.)

I hate Eggman. He is a retarted villian and always gets defeated by Sonic. That's kinda getting old now...no...not kinda old....really old. :/

Eggman is a jerk because...
He wants to destroy Sonic and Friends.
He is a traitor, he can't keep promises nor secrets.
He wants to destroy the entire world.
And ect. Also, the same thing does get very old. I don't like playing a game over and over when I know what the plot will be. That's why I hate all the newer games and like the older ones instead, like the classic ones and Sonic Adventure.

I still wonder why people think he's the worst Chao raiser,He's the Dark counterpart of Tails,the best Chao raiser in SA2.

It's hard to give the chao anything because he's too tall!
