DR.Robotnik is not Dr.Eggman

everyone says that Dr.Robotnik and Dr.Eggman are the same people, well actualy, Dr.Robotnik is Dr. Eggmans Grandfather (it gives it away in SA2)

But in sonic adventure and dx he's name is Dr robotnic but sonic calls him eggman

But i don't know why he likes that name in Sa2B

or did Sadx take place years before sa2b :suprise:

No. In Sonic Adventure 2, Gerald Robotnik is his grandfather and therefore shares the same surname as Dr Robotnik.

The Wikipedia article explains it:

Everyone knows that there the same. But if you read the comic Dr.Robotnic/Eggman
used to be kind and named Kintobor, but became evil after trying to do what he did
to Sonic(Made him really fast and Blue) to himself.

it wuld make more sense if robotnic called him self by his real name and sonic called him eggman as a insult like he dos in sa1 i wonder why thay changed it

eggman is dr.ivo robotnik his grandfather is gerald robotnik.
edit:in sonic chronicles eggman calls himself robotnik.

Yea, Robotnik is his real last name, egg man is just a nickname for him, hence his egg shaped body.
