Ever since I've installed my game, it usually freezes the first three times I try to run it. It normally freezes right after the SEGA logo, always on a loading screen. I have a NVIDIA GeoForce 960 graphics card. I've tried disabling Steam Overlay and manually changing the graphics card settings for SA2B, but it makes absolutely no difference. Here are my current graphics card settings for the game:
Feature- Setting
Ambient Occlusion- Not supported for this application
Anisotropic filtering- Application-controlled
Antialiasing- FXAA- Off
Antialiasing- Gamma correction- On
Antialiasing- Mode- Application-controlled
Antialiasing- Setting- Use global setting (Application-controlled
Antialiasing- Transparency- Off
CUDA- GPUs- Use global setting (All)
Maximum pre-rendered frames- Use the 3D application setting
Multi-Frame Sampled AA (MFAA)- Use global setting (Off)
Multi-display/mixed-GPU acceleration- Use global setting (Multiple display performance)
Power management mode- Prefer maximum performance
Shader Cache- Use global setting (ON)
Texture filtering- Anisotropic sample optimization- Off
Texture filtering- Negative LOD bias- Allow
Texture filtering- Quality- Quality
Texture filtering- Trilinear optimization- On
Threaded optimization- Auto
Triple buffering- Off
Vertical sync- Use the 3D application setting
Virtual Reality pre-rendered frames- Use global setting (1)
If anyone knows how to fix this please let me know, this has become really annoying (strangely, it doesn't happen on SADX though). Any help at all is appreciated.

If you have the Mod Loader, uninstall the loader and the game won't freeze.
