The Black Chao stays black, even when it is Hero alignment, Chaos Chao, anything.
Chacron (From the Chao Races) is this type of Chao.
This Chao is the only Chao unobtainable in the Gamecube version (Moon Chao can be gianed via hacking). This gives Dreamcast users something special to hold on to!

The Moon Chao has a golf ball like texture, and is a shiny puple kind of colour.

The only way to get these Chao are via the Chao Black Market. You can only download Chao and the other items when using the Dreamcast Browser built into your Sonic Adventure 2 game. Link below.
