Chaos Drives are parts of the G.U.N robots that you can use to boost your Chao's stats. Chaos Drives have four different colours that represent the stats they increase:

Red Chaos Drive - Strength |
The colour of the drive you receive when you defeat the G.U.N robots are random,
so you just have to hope you get the colour you want.
Chaos Drives are good because when you give them to your Chao,
it does not affect the appearance of the Chao (i.e no animal parts),
and does not decrease any other stats like some animals do.
The best way to get lots of drives quickly for your Chao is by using Tails or Eggman to collect them.
You can start the level, kill ten G.U.N robots then exit the level. Enter the Chao garden and the drives will come out!
Chaos Drives only increase the stat by 0.8 points on the Dreamcast.
This means the stat will increase by 8 points for every ten drives given.
Chaos Drives increase the stat by 24 points on the Gamecube.
There is NO Blue Chaos Drive
