Re: Sid Meiers Civilization: Beyond Earth
This game looks awesome. I've got it in my Steam shopping cart, along with Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel and Shadowrun Returns. Gonna check them out as soon as I cash my paychecks. (I got a job. :D) I can't decide which affinity I want to use, all three sound pretty awesome. EDIT: I found a helpful we...

Happy birthday, Fox! I was gonna say that to you on your birthday when you came on MSN, but you never did. It didn't occur to me until today to tell you here or on Steam. Sorry!

Awful Hospital (Interactive webcomic)
Awful Hospital is an interactive webcomic on bogleech.com. The protagonist (aka you, the collective readers,) is trying to find her extremely ill son in a strange monster-filled hospital she does not know how she ended up in. Though the hospital is full of monsters (most of them body-part themed), ...

I thought of something today. What's the purpose of your job there? Is it to protect the place from intruders? If so, I think the murderous animatronic animals would do a good job of keeping them in check. Why do they need you there?

Re: Your favorite game that people go "Huh?!" about
As far as games I've actually played go, I'd say Harvest Moon, Cubivore, and Octodad: Dadliest Catch. There are probably others I just can't think of right now.
Edit: Oh, I forgot Black and White 2. And no, I don't mean Pokemon Black 2 and White 2. I mean Black and White 2. <- link.

Solar Roadways
So, apparently there's a prototype for a way to make a road out of solar panels, without them breaking. It's estimated that the energy produced from these roads would be about three times as much as the U.S. currently uses. Plus, it could use LED lights to make images on the road, and it could also ...

Re: THE ELDER SCROLLS ONLINE
Well, ESO doesn't run fast enough to be playable on my computer, so until I get a faster computer, I'm resigned to playing it only when I'm at my dad's house. I just joined a guild, and the people in it are pretty nice. I'm enjoying my Dark Elf Nightblade character, and I'm hoping to find someone wh...

Re: THE ELDER SCROLLS ONLINE
That computer is at my Dad's house. Besides, it's plugged into the back of the CPU, and I'd have to pull it out of the little nook it's in in order to do that.Crash32 wrote:maybe unplug the mouse, and plug it into the computer with the game installed??
But it doesn't matter, it finally finished installing.

Re: THE ELDER SCROLLS ONLINE
Well, I decided to get it. My first character is an Altmer sorcerer named Talmeras. The controls for skills are hard if you're not used to using the wasd keys at the same time as the number keys, while also keeping your crosshair thing on your target. Luckily, I have a gaming mouse, and I'm about to...

Re: THE ELDER SCROLLS ONLINE
Sorry to double post, but the game is out for PC and Mac now, and I'd like to renew this topic. I want to get the game, but it requires you to both buy the game, AND pay a subscription. I'm going to either wait until the game's price is lowered, or see if I can return the game if I buy it retail.

Apply a song to a video game
The way this game works is, person 1 names a video game, and person 2 names a song they feel is somewhat suitable/relevant to the game mentioned by person 1. Person 2 also names a new game for person 3 to apply a song to, etc. I hope I did a good job explaining that. If the song is appropriate for C...

Are you talking about Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth? H.P. Lovecraft and the Cthulhu Mythos
The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents. We live on a placid island of ignorance in the midst of black seas of infinity, and it was not meant that we should voyage far. The sciences, each straining in its own direction, have hi...
