Re: 20th Anniversary to Chao Island!
Wow, congrats on the milestone! 20 years is a long time (most of my lifetime in fact) and it's interesting to see how much Internet culture as a whole has evolved over that time period. A lot of people have come and gone, but Chao Island to me will always be remembered. So many memories born of rais...

Re: How Did You Get Into Sonic?
I first played Sonic 2 in the early 00's as my grandparents owned a Sega Genesis, but it wasn't until about 2008 or 2009 when I got into Sonic since I bought a GameCube and a plethora of Sonic titles second-hand. I think the craziest part about the GameCube is how you can essentially play every sing...

Beat Hazard on PC because of the fun arcade Asteroids-style gameplay with explosive visual effects and intense enemy swarms/boss battles, and Vib-Ribbon on PS1 because of the aesthetic and sheer difficulty curve in executing various platform maneuvers quickly and the game generating line maps with ...

The very dissonant downtown Chicago tornado sirens , which sends chills down my spine in combination with the atmosphere. It seriously sounds like an ice cream truck getting sucked into a black hole. Also, this building gets played like a harmonica during a hurricane and it sounds eerie as all hell.

Fantastic. So, yeah, to anyone who has an account on SIF, don't hesitate to shoot me a FR or message. I currently have no friends on there, but it'd be nice to expand the network. Also, friends are automatically queued as Guests that you can feature in your live shows to increase a particular attrib...

Hey, well, since we're on the topic of Love Live!, is there anyone else who (semi-)actively plays the SIF mobile app? My username is Chesireson and my user ID is 358444510, if any of you would like to add me. I'm almost at Rank 50.

Nano and Sable are confirmed Class A weeaboos. This is in regards to their recently updated Love Live! School Idol Project-themed profile picture/signature combos, and anime-related desktop wallpapers, of which can all be classified as "moe" material.

Ivogoji is a cultured fellow who strives to continually interact with the community and promote discussion (much like retrolinkx), while also being level-headed and civil. In addition, he's humorous, has a cool aura about him, and is just a genuinely personable guy. Also, his beard is rad. 9 out of ...

The contrast between a light and airy acoustic sound and the dark and somber lyrics was quite unique - I enjoyed it. Thanks for sharing.

Wow, I had nearly forgotten about this song until I stumbled upon it again today; it sure hit me with a wave of nostalgia. Some of you may already know that the instrumental version of this tune was featured in the launch trailer for Sonic Generations. I think this track was chosen for the trailer m...

I don't know. A Russian guy tried to make chicken egg homunculi last year, but very little progress was made, as he pulled a small organism out of an egg in his woolen hat, it looked at him and spat, he exclaimed "BLYAT," and the thing went splat. I would link the YouTube video that I'm referring to...

Re: So have you guys been getting your anime doses?
Yes, Boku no Pico is an exemplary piece of art in its own right. However, Nyan~ Neko Sugar Girls is uncontested in terms of its extraordinarily high production value and enjoyment factor; it would be wise for Miyazaki-san to whip out his notepad and derive some inspiration from it. I just made a vid...

If you thought the Nekopara OVA was enough to satiate your anime-specific catgirl cravings, an invaluable crown jewel that is buried deep within the archives of popular video-sharing service, YouTube, in the form of a high-budget, although moderately obscure short animated series, is just waiting to...

So, this is a thing that is happening . Even though I haven't watched Ro-Kyu-Bu! (and I don't plan to), I happen to main as Tomoka-chan, with her moeblob teammate Hinata-chan as a partner, in Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax for the PS3. I just like the idea of scoring hoops and the like on your oppo...

Wow, 100 completed anime is a solid milestone; I hope you enjoy streamlining the Dragon Ball saga. I haven't watched either of those series that you've mentioned, but I might look into watching Dragon Ball some time in the future. I broke the threshold of 30 completed anime on MyAnimeList in Decembe...

I don't believe I have ever owned anything that was considered a bootleg, but I did have a modded PS1 with a literal compendium of burned games when I was a kid, just like Lamby. Let's not forget the fantastic Amiga chiptune that would play when the ParaDoX cracktro would load up for Spyro: Year of ...

Without a doubt, the Japanese soundtrack of Sonic CD—followed closely by the soundtrack of Sonic Adventure 2. The former soundtrack has a undeniably upbeat and frivolous quality to its general sound, but also manages to stay true to the thematics of the various stages and time zones within them. The...
