I hated the first Sonic games. Things are so repetitive and dull. He doesn't even look that fast, I remember going, "What the hell? I can run faster than this chub ball!"
Seriously, the real action doesn't start 'till Sonic Adventure came out. There, ladies and gentlemen, was a game worthy of Sonic.
