I just noticed that particular feature in the editor, though it wasn't quite where I was expecting it to be.

As for buying jewel chao in Chao World Extended...

First, in chao world extended, why can't you buy a jewel chao? Second, why can't you directly make a jewel chao with fusions chao editor in sa2b, like you could do things like disabling limits?

A pity. To me sa2's control scheme makes the game unplayable. It makes it harder to save drowning chao, and easier to attack one! Is it possible to make a mod to provide multiple action buttons I like sadx?
