When u try to make a specific evolution like run then you give it only run if u had given the chao swim early in its life then gave it run it should turn out the way you wanted. Chao are way beter not to mention cuter. The nightopians look like children.

So if u have any sonic advance and the chao garden in it get enough rings and buy any kind of egg they all are jewel chao.
But they dont actually look like jewel chao there actually have a matalick look.

Anyways to get your chao to walk get it to 50 exp or higher.
If you want it to crawl keep it under 50 exp
I think to be able to swim get it to 100 exp same with fly. I dont know what power lvl it is to knock fruit off a tree.
