You can only get them in a tiny chao garden in a gameboy advance/SP. They're available in Sonic Advance 1 & 2, and a pinball game. You can also get one simply by connecting the empty gameboy to the gamecube and putting a chao in it, but you won't be able to save, and it takes a while to save up enou...

As long as you have a gameboy advance or SP and the thing to connect it to the gamecube you can do it. It'll open a tiny garden in your gameboy. You just can't save it.

Not to mention how FREAKING EXPENSIVE they are!

You must remember, these were like, the first chao. They weren't as developed or complex as the newer ones.
