Alice turned around, seeing Gale just finish off another Ishvalan. "This group here...They were riot leaders. Aerugonian artillery."

Alice went out to the battlefield. She scanned it, seeing children facedown in the sand, in puddles of their own blood...
Grown men, easily suffocated with no signs of a struggle. Screams echoed from the area, before cutting off. Not even choking from slitten throats...Almost like...LIke suffocation.

"Hmm? Oh. Okay then. The third bell will bring us back in about twenty minutes."

A secondary, less menacing bell rang. A signal for secondary state alchemists.

"I have to go, Liz. My bell."

Alice nodded slightly, looking around for anyone that might have heard. NO one.

"If that's what you want to do, I won't stop you. Just don't do it here...I could get sentenced to death for sharing this information with you..."

"I really shouldn't say anything about this, but...The cost of another human...Is your ability to use alchemy. My uncle sacrificed his soul...And only got my father's arm back. My father gave up his ability to use alchemy, and brought back his brother."
