This is clearly a joke, but why do some of you guys have to ruin it? Of course there is not Santa, but who gives a crap? Give the big guy in red some slack.

I think it's a combination of fans, community, developers, and complexity. The fans/community want ridiculous things added to Sonic, but when they are added they complain. The developers listen too much to the community. Back when no one cared, Sonic was better. Also the complexity of the story line...
