Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood
It certainly wasn't a very popular Sonic game, but a pretty good one. It was the first RPG Sonic.
It seemed like a really interesting game to me. On almost all review sites, it scored one of the highest possible graphics scores, but the lowest possible "lasting appeal" scores.
Does anyone else play this?

Liked it until I accidentally made it unwinnable by choosing the wrong team in Metropolis.
Lazy flaw.

I liked it. I got all the findable chao [not the special Japanese event chao-my cousin hacked them into his copy though...>.<] and Sonic was at lv. 15-ish I think. However, it got to a point where doing the same fights over and over again and again got boring. Collecting Chao Eggs, Rings, and leveling up just isn't enough for major replay.

I liked it a lot.
I don't recall any RPG elements in Sonic Adventure, besides different characters to play as.TeamAZ wrote:Sonic Adventure had the first RPG type Sonic...

Alright, it did have RPG elements... and was originally going to be an RPG.
SCDB had more, and was designed from the start to be such. :D

Re: Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood
^the event chao looked like ninjas, they were black with a different colored marking around their eyes, and chao ball. They had really strange names, and were scattered around the garden, they didn't have a nest like spot to stay at. They were just stuck at one place where you would think a chao wouldn't be at.
EDIT: Here's a link to a pic-sorry it's long:

RPGames make no cents.
I like call of duty games.
They should do sonic shooter.

^You've made it obvious that you're a troll now. I'm guessing you're a banned alt, or another scheme by Poseidon and Techno.
And for the shooter argument. I think I would like a sonic shooter if they did it right. But I'm not hoping for one.

Re: Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood
I didn't like it... In fact, I hated it. Enemies respawn like crazy (as soon as the spot goes offscreen), and there was an impossible battle near the beginning that caused me to keep dying, and basically throwing away my rings, until eventually I had to throw away my data since the last save as well, which is frustrating because then I would have to catch up by finding all of those Chao Eggs again...
But I didn't get a chance to do that, I was so mad that I figured that the game was too terrible to bother with. Luckily, we were just renting it. My mom was having trouble as well (she was confused by the battle style), so we sent it back.
What an awful game! It was the worst Sonic Game I had ever played. What a disappointment that was. The only thing I liked was the Chao (duh), but because I was forced to have part of my data erased due to that crazy-hard fight, it became hard to enjoy as I would have to waste time finding the Eggs again.
