why did they make sonic 2006 it is very glichy and why couldn't they perogem tails to stay still when he is flying. the snowbording is terabale and its like they put no efert into perogameing the game! THE DEMO WAS BETTER THEN THE REAL GAME!!! i'm sorry i justHATE THE GAME. if you agree with me then post it in the replys. and another thing WHAT IS WITH ALL THE LOEDING SCREENS SERISLY THER DOESN'T HAVE TO BE THET MUCH LOEDING SCERENS!!!!!!!!!!

Sonic 2006 was a great game in my opinion. It was released early because Microsoft and Sony wanted it released at a specific time, and it wasn't going to be complete then. The finished result you see wasn't. I still loved it, however.
They did well at constructing an experience similar to the original Sonic Adventure with the adventure field and interwoven character stories but the and game mechanics were pathetic for a 2006 release. The game is widely panned for it's poor camera controls, loading times as erick said, and glocky movements, not to mention the absurd glitches like the infamous loop in Sonic's beach level. Entertaining story, lazy gameplay. You expect a rushed game to be missing previously advertised elements, not to lack polished fundamentals.

Sonic 06 has good storyline, but crappy gameplay. But it was the last game that allowed you to go anywhere like SA (DX), SA2(B), Sonic Heroes, unlike the games like Unleashed, Colors and Generations, you had only to go straight.
I liked it as well, but it wasn't worth a 40-60 dollar release in my mind. Pretty disappointing if you remember what was shown of the game while in development, you buy it on release, and receive clunky, glitch-afflicted controls. Especially when we've seen what Sega can do when they actually polish a Sonic game (Generations).

I've seen kisses used to 'save peoples lives' in more than one story. So I would say that is the least 'weird' thing about Sonic 2006 and Elise.
Other than that from what I saw of the game, she was a pretty bland and terrible character. I still find it hilarious she kissed Sonic and Amy didn't destroy her though.
If the game had been given the time it deserved for development, I doubt the controls would have been nearly as terrible. I'm still never going to play it though, since it pretty much wipes itself out of canon at the end of the game.
Darn kids and their boost mode. In my day we had Spin Dash for speed AND WE LIKED IT.

I think '06 was a great game. It's got great story, fun gameplay, and great graphics.
The problem is that people are blinded by the semi-long loading screens, lots of minor glitches, and the sonelise kiss. (Which actually was a bad move.)

I didn't think Sonic '06 was quite as bad as everyone made it out to be. I only rented it for a few days, but I'll admit that I was pretty annoyed by the glitches and the many loading screens. One of the upsides of the game is the good music, at least.
Well, I own the game and I have to agree: it is the glitchiest of all Sonic games I played so far but there are rumors that may explain why it is so.
Many people say this game is very glitchy because it wasn't «ended», because SEGA wanted to rush things and also because they thought they were «running out of time». Anyways, these are rumors so, I don't know if this is true or not.
But one this is sure: for me, this game is ****
OK, I don't care if that game is glitchy. The story line is great. Every Sonic game is glitchy in it's own way, and don't be so negative!
