If you don't know, Sonic Chronicles Dark Brotherhood is a sonic RPG. Look it up on Wikipedia. Its a pretty fun game in my opinion.

The battle system in that game was a pain for me.

never finished it because of a poorly balanced section in chapter 4, the point where you have to split everyone into teams

I never purchased it because it didn't really seem all that interesting to me when I first learned of it.

After later reading up on the plot, it seemed like Sega's attempt at being like Archie Sonic.

Eh.
Darn kids and their boost mode. In my day we had Spin Dash for speed AND WE LIKED IT.

I played and enjoyed the game, although it was quite a time ago so I can't remember if I had any particular jibes about it. I did find the ending a bit anticlimactic though.

It was meh. I liked the leveling up, the graphics were ok for a DS game, I enjoyed the collecting of rings, equipment, and chao, but the ending was anti-climatic and once you reached the level cap of 20 things weren't fun.

I have it, but I didn't get far in it. The gameplay just wasn't that fun for me. I did enjoy being able to make choices for what Sonic said though. The way they presented the story and character interactions was interesting for me. If I feel like putting time into it, I still might try to finish it so I can see more antics from the characters.

:dark: I completed it,and liked it.
The Chao collecting was fun,and I liked the character interactions AND it's a game were you can be lots of different characters.
It wasn't the Best sonic game, but It was good.
The story was great,it explained Knuckles past, which has always seemed confusing to me,and the last time they even explained anything about Knuckles past was probably Sonic Adventure.

I'd give it 7/10.
