to be honest i could talk about like cosmetics all day, but i am actually too dumb to grasp internet basics, but i'm assuming this is average for usa or something idk

but if a "c" is better than half americans have, yikes. and that's me paying something like 40-60$ a month or something so wow

My internet is very bad. Well, my home internet is, because we need satellite internet, because our driveway is too long. Leading me to not be able to watch Youtube effectively, or really do anything else.

At college, I have very good internet, but I am not there right now.

I'm going to tell you anyway because ping comes into play anytime you play a game online and it's actually pretty simple.

Your ping is just the length of time (in milliseconds) that it takes the information from your computer to reach wherever it is it's heading, which is usually a website's server. So, the lower your ping, the better, since it means there's less delay.

This brought back memories - we used to have Hughesnet for the same reason. The data cap was like 500 megabytes for $70 a month.

Pretty sure we pay over $80AUD for our internet with a 1TB cap.
Also note that it is in megabits per second, not megabytes per second.

There are also mobile speed tests, if you want to prove that you have the worst internet out of everyone.

My internet has been goddamn garbage for the past few months and it has only been getting worse. We have to reset our router three to seven times a day. It's been driving me up the wall. Test froze after like 5 minutes with a reading of 0.21mb/s and 95s ping.

Omg, me too! My internet loves to disconnect every 30 days or so, which means same freaking thing again.

Going to router,
unplugging router,
plugging back in, and
finally waiting 3 minutes for it to come back on.
